Commis Chef at Rogan & Co

Description
Sister restaurant to L’Enclume, Rogan and Company is our neighborhood restaurant that offers a mix of local and international ingredients served in a friendly environment.
Open since 2008 Rogan and Company has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes. Settled in the heart of Cumbria and close to the Lake District National park.

Candidate Responsibilities
The candidate should be keen for a great introduction to food and hospitality. Be creative, flexible and have a can do attitude along with having an obsessive passion for food. Be keen to learn their craft some from of the countries finest individuals. Above all to embrace and understand our ethos and believe in our principles.

Scope and Purpose of Job:
As a Commis Chef, you will be required to work under the direction of Simon Rogan and the Executive Brigade in the preparation and cooking of food ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times. Working closely with the other members of the kitchen brigade on your designated section within the kitchen. Maintaining the kitchen to be organized, tidy and clean. Assisting to create dishes to the high standards that the restaurant already has. We welcome new ideas and dish creations to be brought forward to the team so that your creative side can flourish.
